The profit figure was higher than Street estimates of Rs 356 crore as reflected in a poll by ET Now.
Revenue from operations in the same period rose 15% YoY to Rs 5,589 crore in the July-September 2024 period, compared with Rs 5,589 crore in the same period of last year. The revenue was higher than ET Now poll estimates of Rs 5,485 crore.
EBITDA for the second quarter was at Rs 816 crore, 30% year-on-year growth.

In Apollo HealthCo, pharmacy distribution and digital health revenues are at Rs 2,282 crore, showing growth of 17% YoY. The GMV of Apollo 24/7 is at Rs 757 crore.

As of September 2024, Apollo Hospitals had 7,994 operating beds across the network (excluding AHLL and managed beds). The overall occupancy for hospitals was at 73% vs 68% in the same period in the previous year, aided by a strong increase in patient flows across hospitals.
