Allcargo Q4 net spikes 36%

MUMBAI: Integrated logistics company Allcargo Global Logistics today reported a 36 per cent jump in post-tax profit for the December quarter at Rs 51 crore.

The city-headquartered company's net profit for the corresponding period last year was Rs 37 crore, it said in a statement today.

Revenue was up seven per cent at Rs 998 crore while pre-tax profit jumped 52 per cent to Rs 117 crore, it said.

The Ebitda margin widened to 12 per cent for the quarter from eight per cent a year ago, it said.

The company, which works as per the calendar year, posted a net profit jump of 34 per cent to Rs 223 crore for 2011, it said.

The company scrip was trading 1.21 per cent up at Rs 142 on the BSE, whose 30-share sensex was down 0.76 per cent, at 1408 hours.
