Allcargo Logistics net plunges by 28 per cent to Rs 42 crore

Income from operations rose by 5.6 per cent to Rs 1,071 crore during the three months to September against Rs 1,014 crore reported a year earlier.

MUMBAI: Allcargo Logistics reported 28 per cent dip today, in consolidated net profit to Rs 42 crore in the second quarter, due to rise in expenses and finance costs.

Income from operations rose by 5.6 per cent to Rs 1,071 crore during the three months to September against Rs 1,014 crore reported a year earlier.

Allcargo, which operates in three segments -- multimodal transport operations, container freight stations operations as well as project and engineering solutions, reported a total revenue of Rs 898 crore from the multimodal transport operations segment.

While revenue from container freight station operations stood at Rs 82 crore, it was Rs 95 crore from the project and engineering solutions segment.
