The company's total income stood at Rs 4,006 crore, up 29% from Rs 3,112 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. The company also earned Rs 429 from the sale of goods/equipment and related services.
The operational renewable energy (RE) capacity grew 45% YoY to 15.8 GW and the company claimed to have recorded India’s largest Greenfield addition of 1.6 GW in Q1 FY26 and 4.9 GW over last year.
Commenting on the company’s earnings, CEO Ashish Khanna said that Adani Green Energy added 1.6 GW of greenfield renewable energy capacity in Q1FY26, taking the total addition to 4.9 GW over the past year, an achievement he called unmatched in India’s transition toward clean energy.
“Our investments in the massive RE development at Khavda in Gujarat, as well as other resource-rich sites, are delivering results, both in terms of superior operational performance and industry-best EBITDA margins,” Khanna said.
“We are on track to achieve our 2030 target of 50 GW RE capacity, including at least 5 GW of hydro pumped storage, along with battery storage. Battery storage is also a key part of our future strategy,” he added.
Shares of Adani Green surged nearly 4% to hit the day’s high of Rs 1,013.60 on NSE following the announcement of its Q1 earnings.
