ABG Shipyard Q1 net up 4.3 pc at Rs 40.06 cr
Country's largest private ship builder ABG Shipyard today posted a 4.30 per cent jump in net profit for the June quarter at Rs 40.06 crore.
The company's net profit for the corresponding April-June period last year was Rs 38.41 crore.
The company's total income during the quarter surged to Rs 522.60 crore from year ago's Rs 449.45 crore, showing an increase of 16.27 per cent.
It delivered four vessels in the reporting period this year while as on June 20, 2011, its total order book stood at approximately Rs 14,500 crore, a statement issued here by the company said.
The company's scrip closed 1.59 per cent down at Rs 374.45 at the Bombay Stock Exchange.
