10.4 pc jump in net profits for MRF

CHENNAI: Leading tyre manufacturer MRF has posted a 10.4 per cent jump in net profits at Rs 112.89 crore for the third quarter ending December 31, 2011.
The city-based company reported net profits at Rs 102.18 crore in the same period of previous year, a company statement said.
Net income from operations for the third quarter ending December 31,2011 stood at Rs 3,136.42 Crore from Rs 2,366.74 Crore registered during the same period of previous year, it added.
