Avenue Supermarts promoter Radhakishan Shivkishan Damani sells shares worth Rs 561 crore
The promoter offloaded 40 lakh shares at Rs 1,404.10 per share.

NEW DELHI: Promoter Radhakishan Shivkishan Damani on Friday offloaded shares worth Rs 561 crore in Avenue Supermarts, which runs D-Mart supermarkets chain through open market transactions.
According to data available with the BSE, the promoter offloaded 40 lakh shares at Rs 1,404.10 per scrip, translating it into a Rs 561.64 crore transaction.
The buyer, however, could not be ascertained immediately.
According to the shareholding pattern available, Damani held 23,96,89,156 shares or 38.41 per cent stake in Avenue Supermarts at the end of June 2019 quarter.
Shares of Avenue Supermarts ended at Rs 1,452.85 apiece on the BSE, up 1.58 per cent from previous close.
