The IPO, which was open for subscription from August 18 to August 20, drew an overwhelming response from investors, with the issue subscribed 105.81 times overall.

Sunshine Pictures' Rs 282-crore public issue witnessed massive demand. The IPO allotment is expected to be finalised on Friday, August 21. As investors check whether they made the cut, the grey market is already offering an early hint of what could be in store on listing day, with the GMP currently indicating gains of around 22%.

Investors can check their Sunshine Pictures IPO allotment status online through the IPO registrar’s website, as well as the BSE and NSE portals.

If the allotment goes through as scheduled, successful applicants will see the allotted shares credited to their demat accounts ahead of the stock’s market debut. Sunshine Pictures is slated to list on both the BSE and NSE on August 25, 2026.


The IPO, which was open for subscription from August 18 to August 20, drew an overwhelming response from investors, with the issue subscribed 105.81 times overall. The retail portion was subscribed 56.60 times, while the QIB category was subscribed 123.52 times. The NII segment saw the strongest demand, with subscription reaching 197.04 times.

The Rs 282.14-crore IPO comprises a fresh issue of 48 lakh shares worth Rs 172.80 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of 30 lakh shares amounting to Rs 109.34 crore.

The company had fixed the IPO price band at Rs 342–Rs 360 per share.

Sunshine Pictures is tentatively scheduled to make its debut on August 25, 2026, on both the NSE and BSE, subject to the IPO timeline.

GYR Capital Advisors Pvt. Ltd. is the book-running lead manager for the issue, while Bigshare Services Pvt. Ltd. is the registrar.

Sunshine Pictures IPO GMP Today

The Sunshine Pictures IPO continues to command a premium in the grey market, with the latest GMP reported at Rs 80. This indicates a premium of around 22% over the IPO’s upper price band of Rs 360 per share.

At the current GMP, the estimated listing price is around Rs 440 per share. If the premium holds until listing, investors could potentially see gains of approximately 21% over the issue price. Financial Performance

Sunshine Pictures posted a mixed performance in FY26, with revenue declining but profitability improving. Total income fell 28% to Rs 76.27 crore, from Rs 105.80 crore in FY25, while PAT rose 16% to Rs 40.02 crore, compared with Rs 34.46 crore a year earlier.
