The IPO is expected to finalise its share allotment today, allowing investors to check online whether they have received shares. Steamhouse is scheduled to list on both the BSE and NSE on September 17, 2026.
Adding to investor interest, Steamhouse’s grey market premium (GMP) is currently around 30%, indicating expectations of a potentially strong listing gain. However, GMP is an unofficial indicator and can fluctuate before listing.
The IPO opened for subscription on September 9 and closed on September 11, 2026. The issue was subscribed around 32 times overall. The retail investor portion was subscribed 18 times, while the Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs) category saw 46.60 times subscription. Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) subscribed 46.19 times their allotted portion.
The IPO comprises a fresh issue of Rs 353 crore and an Offer for Sale (OFS) worth Rs 61 crore. The company had fixed the price band at Rs 77–Rs 81 per equity share.
Equirus Capital Ltd. is the book-running lead manager for the issue, while Kfin Technologies Ltd. is acting as the registrar.

Steamhouse IPO GMP today
The Steamhouse IPO Grey Market Premium (GMP) currently stands at Rs 23, indicating a 28% premium over the IPO’s upper price band of Rs 81.At the current GMP, the estimated listing price works out to around Rs 104 per share, pointing to a potential 28% listing gain for investors if the grey market trend translates into the actual market debut.
IPO objects of the issue
The company plans to use the IPO proceeds primarily to repay or prepay Rs 180 crore of its outstanding borrowings, helping reduce its debt burden. A portion of the funds will also be directed towards capacity expansion at its Ankleshwar and Panoli facilities, with Rs 37.98 crore earmarked for each project.Another Rs 38.17 crore will be used to set up a manufacturing facility for steam generation at Dahej SEZ. The remaining proceeds will be utilised for general corporate purposes, taking the total estimated utilisation of the net proceeds to Rs 294.13 crore.
Financial performance
Steamhouse India Ltd. reported a 24% year-on-year increase in total income, rising from Rs 398.53 crore in FY25 to Rs 494.97 crore in FY26. The growth was driven by higher revenue during the latest financial year.Profitability also improved, with profit after tax (PAT) climbing 24% from Rs 31.16 crore in FY25 to Rs 38.64 crore in FY26. The rise in both income and profit reflects an improvement in the company’s financial performance in FY26.
