Sparsh lists at Rs 110.50 on BSE

Sparsh BPO Services Limited, which merged the domestic call center division of Spanco Telesystems and Solutions with itself, on Monday got listed at Rs 110.50 on the Bombay Stock Exchange.

MUMBAI: Sparsh BPO Services Limited, which merged the domestic call center division of Spanco Telesystems and Solutions with itself, on Monday got listed at Rs 110.50 on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The shares of the company touched a high of Rs 128.50 within minutes of trading as over 1.35 lakh shares changed hands on the BSE.
The scheme of arrangement entailing the demerger of the domestic call center division of Spanco Telesystems and Solutions Limited into Sparsh was approved by the Bombay High Court in August 2006.
Pursuant to the scheme of arrangement, over 1.61 crore equity shares of Rs 10 each fully paid-up would be issued to the shareholders of Spanco Telesystems and Solutions Limited.
In consideration arrangement, Sparsh allotted 79.12 lakh equity shares of Rs 10 each to the shareholders of Spanco in an exchange ratio of one equity share of Rs 10 each for every three equity shares of the same value held by the shareholders in Spanco.
The paid-up equity capital of the company after the scheme of arrangement increased to Rs 16.14 crore from Rs 8.23 crore.
Sparsh was formerly known as Intelenet BPO Services Limited.
