Sintex board approves fund raising of over Rs 1,800 crore
Sintex said its board has approved plans to raise over Rs 1,800 crore through issue of securities in overseas and domestic markets.

NEW DELHI: Sintex Industries today said its board has approved plans to raise over Rs 1,800 crore through issue of securities in overseas and domestic markets.
The company's board, during its meeting today, approved raising up to $ 225 million (over Rs 1,240 crore) by way of issuing Foreign Currency Convertibe Bonds, Global Depository Receipts or American Depository Receipts.
In a regulatory filing, Sintex said the board has also given a nod for raising up to Rs 600 crore through issue of "equity shares/non-convertible debt instrument along with warrants to Qualified Institutional Buyers".
Sintex Industries is mainly into textiles and plastics businesses, and has 10 manufacturing plants.
