India's largest asset management company, SBI Funds Management, is set to launch its much-awaited Rs 11,692.91-crore initial public offering on July 14, with the issue remaining open for subscription until July 16.

Investor enthusiasm is already building in the grey market. The SBI Funds Management IPO GMP is currently hovering around Rs 89, indicating a 16% premium over the upper end of the price band of Rs 574. Based on the latest grey market trends, the stock is expected to list at around Rs 663 per share, if current sentiment sustains.

SBI Funds Management has fixed the IPO price band at Rs 545-574 per equity share. The Rs 11,692.91-crore public issue is entirely an Offer for Sale (OFS) of 20.37 crore equity shares, therefore, the company itself will not receive any proceeds from the offering. The entire issue proceeds will instead accrue to the selling shareholders i.e. State Bank of India and Amundi India Holding.


For retail investors, the minimum application size is 26 shares, translating into a minimum investment of Rs 14,924 at the upper end of the price band.

Ahead of the IPO launch, the asset management company raised Rs 1,655 crore through a pre-IPO placement, allotting 2.88 crore equity shares to 30 marquee institutional investors, highlighting robust demand from large investors.

The IPO will open for public subscription on July 14, 2026, and close on July 16, 2026. The basis of allotment is expected to be finalized on July 17, 2026, while the shares are tentatively scheduled to debut on the NSE and BSE on July 21, 2026.

Kotak Mahindra Capital Co. Ltd. is the book-running lead manager for the issue, while Kfin Technologies Ltd. is serving as the registrar.

The company had posted a profit of Rs 2,073 crore in FY24, highlighting its consistent growth trajectory over the past three years.
