No IPO plans for NSE

National Stock Exchange managing director Ravi Narain on Friday said there are no immediate plans for an IPO of the exchange.

MUMBAI : National Stock Exchange managing director Ravi Narain on Friday said there are no immediate plans for an IPO of the exchange.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a function here, he said IPO is a distant dream.

According to Narain, the exchange has few investors whose holding is more than five per cent and they will be required to bring it down to five per cent before October to meet the current regulations.
