Excel Infoways IPO subscribed 10 pc on day two
The initial public offer (IPO) of Excel Infoways Ltd (EIL) got subscribed 10 per cent on the second day of its issue, with most of the bids coming in from non-institutional investors.
The issue got bids for 5.79 lakh shares, representing 0.10 times of the shares on offer, as per data available with the National Stock Exchange.
The price band for the issue has been fixed between Rs 80 and Rs 85 per equity share.
Non-institutional investors, including retail investors, subscribed 38 per cent of the over 85 lakh shares reserved for them, the NSE data shows.
The BPO company has come out with an IPO of over 56.67 lakh shares and the issue would close on July 17.
As per the NSE data, till now, institutional investors -- which include qualified institutional buyers -- FIIs as well as mutual fund houses -- have not participated in the subscription of IPO of business process outsourcing (BPO) firm.
