Brookfield REIT IPO subscribed 15% on day 1

The IPO consists of a fresh issue of units at a price band of Rs 274-Rs 275. It closes on Friday.

The non-institutional portion was subscribed 30 per cent while the institutional investors are yet to bid.

Mumbai: The initial public offer of Brookfield India Real Estate Trust (REIT) was subscribed 15% on Wednesday, the opening day for the issue. The Rs 3,800 crore issue received bids for 1.15 crore units out of the 7.63 crore units on offer.

The non-institutional portion was subscribed 30 per cent while the institutional investors are yet to bid.

The Brookfield REIT is the third such IPO after Mindspace and Embassy REITs. It is India’s only institutionally managed public commercial realty vehicle. The IPO consists of a fresh issue of units at a price band of Rs 274-Rs 275. It closes on Friday.
