Augmont Enterprises will launch its Rs 825 crore IPO on August 21, offering investors exposure to India’s growing organised precious-metals and bullion ecosystem.
Augmont Enterprises, an integrated precious metals platform, has fixed the price band for its Rs 825 crore initial public offering (IPO) at Rs750-788 per equity share. The issue will open on August 21 and close on August 25, with anchor investor bidding scheduled for August 20.

Investors can bid for a minimum of 19 shares, taking the minimum investment at the upper end of the price band to Rs 14,972. The IPO comprises a fresh issue of Rs 620 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of Rs 205 crore.

The OFS includes shares worth Rs 69.4 crore each being sold by Namita Ketan Kothari and Vivek Prithviraj Kothari, and shares worth Rs 66.2 crore by Dimple Mukesh Kothari. The issue also includes an employee reservation portion of up to Rs 4 crore.

At the upper end of the price band, the company is being valued at about 19.48 times its FY26 earnings, while the P/E multiple at the lower end is 18.54 times. The company has reported a weighted average return on net worth of 55.25% for the last three financial years.

The IPO is being launched through the book-building route, with at least 35% of the net offer reserved for retail investors and not less than 15% for non-institutional investors. Up to 50% of the net offer can be allocated to qualified institutional buyers (QIBs), with a portion of the QIB quota available for anchor investors.

For retail investors, the 19-share minimum lot means the investment requirement ranges from Rs 14,250 at the floor price to ₹14,972 at the cap price. This makes the issue accessible to retail investors while leaving the final allotment dependent on demand during the bidding period.

The fresh capital of Rs 620 crore will be raised by the company, while the Rs 205 crore OFS proceeds will accrue to the selling shareholders. The issue comes at a time when the demand for organised gold and precious-metals platforms gain traction, with investors closely watching companies seeking to benefit from the formalisation and growth of India's bullion and jewellery ecosystem.
