The anchor book saw participation from a mix of mutual funds, insurance companies and foreign institutional investors. These included Goldman Sachs India Asset Management Company, WhiteOak Capital, Bandhan Small Cap Fund, Bajaj Life Insurance, JM Financial Mutual Fund, IndusInd General Insurance, Groww Mutual Fund, Tata Multi Asset Allocation Fund, Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund, Societe Generale, BofA Securities Europe SA and Integrated Core Strategies Asia.
Mutual funds get over half of anchor allocation
Out of the total anchor allocation, 81,29,432 equity shares, or 51.39% of the anchor portion, were allotted to six domestic mutual funds through 12 schemes. The company said 40% of the anchor investor portion was reserved for domestic mutual funds, life insurance companies and pension funds. This included 33.33% for domestic mutual funds and 6.67% for life insurance companies and pension funds.Life insurance companies and pension funds were allotted 7,19,468 shares, representing 4.55% of the anchor investor portion.
IPO opens September 9
Asset Reconstruction Company India's IPO will open on September 9 and close on September 11. The price band has been fixed at Rs 132-139 per equity share of face value Rs 10 each.Investors can bid for a minimum of 107 shares and in multiples of 107 shares thereafter. At the upper end of the price band, the minimum retail application size works out to Rs 14,873.
The IPO is entirely an offer for sale of up to 5,27,31,946 equity shares by existing shareholders. Since the issue is a pure OFS, the company will not receive any proceeds from the public offer.
The selling shareholders include Avenue India Resurgence Pte Ltd, State Bank of India, Lathe Investment Pte Ltd and Federal Bank. Avenue India Resurgence will sell up to 2,48,23,910 shares, SBI up to 1,09,63,062 shares, Lathe Investment up to 1,62,44,858 shares and Federal Bank up to 7,00,116 shares.
Focus on stressed assets
Asset Reconstruction Company India operates in the stressed assets business, acquiring loans from banks and financial institutions and working on recovery and resolution.
IIFL Capital Services, IDBI Capital Markets & Securities and JM Financial are the book-running lead managers to the issue.
