US $ sharply cheaper against Re

MUMBAI: The US $ turned sharply cheaper against the rupee at Rs 46.82/83 per dollar and the Pound Sterling closed lower at to Rs 86.68/70 per pound at the close of the Interbank Foreign Exchange (FOREX) market here on Tuesday.
