Rupee steady against dollar
The rupee US ruled steady at Rs 39.28/29 per dollar at the close of the Interbank Foreign Exchange market.

MUMBAI: The US dollar ruled steady against the rupee at Rs 39.28/29 per dollar but the pound sterling turned lower at Rs.77.02/04 per pound at the close of the Interbank Foreign Exchange (FOREX) market here on Thursday.
