Forex, money markets closed in India today for Id-E-Milad

Mumbai: Forex and money markets are closed today on account of ' Id-E-Milad' in India .

Whereas, The BSE Sensex rose 0.2 per cent in early trade on Friday, led by gains in Tata Motors, ICICIBank and L&T.

At 9:20 a.m., the 30-share BSE index was trading 0.20 per cent higher at 19,962. L&T (0.4 per cent), Tata Motors (1.6 per cent) and ICICI Bank(0.4 per cent) led the gainers pack.
