We have recorded highest ever investment in last two and a half years: Ramesh Abhishek, DIPP Secy

In a chat with ET Now, Ramesh Abhishek, DIPP Secy says that we are getting enquiries, queries about enormous number of other investments that are planning to come in.

Have we not been able to make a sales pitch for foreign investment?

The foreign investor interest in India is reflected in the numbers. In the last two and a half years we had US $130 billion of investment which is the highest ever and we are seeing a 30% growth in foreign FDI this year so the numbers show the confidence that foreign investors have and we are getting enquiries, queries about enormous number of other investments that are planning to come in. Invest India in one year they are facilitating investments of $55 billion.
