We are open to any kind of investments which make commercial sense: Prabhat Singh, Petronet LNG
"Once we are through with our studies which we need to do and then we find merit in that, that is the point of time then we will actually put in some proposition," said Singh.

Prabhat Singh: We are open to any kind of investments which makes commercial sense so if they come up with a proposition which makes commercial sense to us, why not.
Have you reached any concrete decision in buying 25% stake in the GSPC’s Mundra LNG Terminal?
Prabhat Singh: We are evaluating all such options wherever possible and we are still in the evaluation stage.
When should we expect any concrete decision on the same?
Prabhat Singh: No timeframe, but once we are through with our studies which we need to do and then we find merit in that, that is the point of time then we will actually put in some proposition. Else if we do not find too much of merit in that we may not really also think about doing that.
Are you also looking at any international deals this fiscal may be?
Prabhat Singh: International deals in terms of what, LNG buying etc?
Yes.
Prabhat Singh: No, at this moment we are not because we already have a lot of LNG India has already bought so we need to really see that how we utilise that effectively. So not too many things are being talked about but if somebody comes up with a proposition where we can address these power plants which are actually not stranded then there becomes a strong case for that.
