“I do not know whether we are going to have any strategic investors,” says Sanjeev Asthana, CEO, Patanjali Foods

Are you going to have any strategic investors?
There is no such discussion going on right now but we may or may not have strategic investors. I do not know. I cannot comment on that.

In November, you are going to have your first road show abroad. Can you share some details?

The road show is just to apprise the investors, to tell them what our plan is but that is that. It is not to seek investments.

You have come up with a plan for four IPOs. Any other company that you are looking at or more ventures?
There is no such plan for any other company. I would not be able to comment on this right now because there is nothing on the cards immediately. But there is a timeline. Swamiji has decided that over the next five years, we will come out with four IPOs and hopefully over a period of time, it will happen.

The Rs 5,000 crore that you plan to raise? What is it for?

It is for Patanjali Foods.

You are going to come up with a new company in the FMCG sector. What would it be called?
Patanjali Foods is the food FMCG and Patanjali Ayurved is the non-food FMCG part of the business.
