Bitcoin trades near $83K as crypto market recovers
In the past 24 hours, Bitcoin was up 0.42% and Ethereum was up 2.09% to trade around $2,551 mark. Among the major altcoins, BNB, XRP, Solana, Tron, Hyperliquid, Dogecoin and Cardano gained up to 2.39%.
Vikram Subburaj, CEO, Giottus said ETF flows remain volatile. US spot Bitcoin ETFs saw heavy outflows on October 7 and 8, signalling cautious institutional sentiment. Elevated oil prices, a stronger dollar and uncertainty over the US Federal Reserve's next move are also weighing on risk appetite.
Subburaj further said that investors should avoid chasing short-term rallies. Bitcoin's $82,000 - $83,000 zone is an important support area. Staggered buying, smaller position sizes and close attention to ETF flows and US inflation data can help investors manage volatility.

Minal Thukral, Executive VP-Growth & Crypto Business Head at CoinDCX said Bitcoin continues to consolidate around $83,600 as the weekend trade failed to attract buying volume.
Over the last week, Bitcoin was down 2.97% and Ethereum was down 6.11%. Among the major altcoins, BNB, Tron, Dogecoin, Hyperliquid and Cardano corrected up to 9.52%.
Prateek Gupta, Head of Business, Mudrex said Bitcoin is trading near $83,500, supported by news of an energy ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine. The rebound follows more than $2.4 billion in liquidations, while US spot Bitcoin ETFs saw $681 million in outflows, ending a three-week inflow streak.
However, underlying demand remains strong, with whales reportedly accumulating around 15,000 BTC in 72 hours and corporate holdings increasing by 193,000 BTC this year, Gupta further said.

Nischal Shetty, Founder, WazirX: Bitcoin trades near $83,412 in a constructive but consolidating daily structure, with RSI at 53 showing balanced momentum. Immediate support lies around 83,200 - 83,300, while 83,600 - 84,100 forms resistance.
Avinash Shekhar, Co-founder and CEO, Pi42: Bitcoin is trading around $83,800, showing signs of recovery after last week's decline. However, the rebound remains cautious as a stronger US dollar, elevated bond yields and uncertainty around the Federal Reserve's interest rate outlook continue to influence market sentiment.
