Wheat rises on increased offtake by flour mills
Traders said increased offtake by flour mills against restricted supplies from producing belts mainly led to rise in wheat prices.

In the national capital, wheat dara (for mills) rose by Rs 15 to Rs 1,695-1,700 per quintal. Atta chakki delivery followed suit and was up by Rs 20 to Rs 1,705-1,710 per 90 kg. Atta flour mills and sooji also moved up to Rs 885-890 and Rs 1,065-1,070 from previous levels of Rs 870-875 and Rs 1,035-1,045 per 50 kg respectively in line with wheat trend.
