Wheat prices rose by Rs 5 per quintal in lacklustre trade on the wholesale grains market today on increased offtake by flour mills.

NEW DELHI: Wheat prices rose by Rs 5 per quintal in lacklustre trade on the wholesale grains market today on increased offtake by flour mills.

Traders said increased offtake by flour mills mainly led to rise in wheat prices.

In the national capital, wheat dara (for mills) rose by Rs 5 to 1,645-1,650 per quintal. Atta chakki delivery followed suit and rose by a similar margin to trade at Rs 1,650-1,655 per 90 kg.
