NEW DELHI: Wheat prices recovered up to Rs 20 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today on emergence of buying by flour mills to meet marriage season demand.

Marketmen said fresh buying by flour mills in view of marriage season demand mainly led to rise in wheat prices.

In the national capital, wheat deshi rose by Rs 20 to Rs 1,620-1,720 and wheat dara (for mills) by Rs 10 to Rs 1,115-1,120 per quintal. Atta chakki also followed suit and gained Rs 10 at Rs 1,120-1,125 per 90 kg.
