Urad, masoor prices up on restricted supply
Prices of urad and masoor dal firmed up in the wholesale pulses market on restricted arrivals from producing regions.

NEW DELHI: Prices of urad and masoor dal firmed up in the wholesale pulses market on Monday on restricted arrivals from producing regions.
Urad Maharashtra and Rangoon were higher by Rs 25 each at Rs 1,800-2,275 and Rs 2,225-2,235 per quintal respectively.
Masoor small and bold traded Rs 10 each higher at Rs 3,160-3,260 and Rs 2,810-2,910 per quintal respectively.
However, other commodities were traded in a limited range on some deals.
Traders said paucity of ready stocks due to restricted arrivals from producing centre mainly pushed up select commodity prices.
