NEW DELHI: Turmeric and jeera prices rose by Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today, largely on the back of a pick-up in demand from local parties as well as overseas enquiries.

Turmeric prices rose by Rs 100 to settle at Rs 6,300-11,800 per quintal.

Jeera common and jeera best quality also increased by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 12,100-12,600 and Rs 16,100-16,400 per quintal, respectively.
