NEW DELHI: In thin trading, steel prices after moving in a tight range on scattered enquiries, ended steady in the national capital today.

Traders said negligible offtake by stockists following absence of demand from engineering and construction units, mainly kept steel prices unchanged.

Following are today's quotations (in Rs per tonne):

Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm Rs 36,600, 10-mm Rs 38,400, 12-mm Rs 37,800, 16-25 mm Rs 37,800.

Amba Shakti (TMT): 8-mm Rs 44,000, 10-mm Rs 41,500, 12-mm, Rs 40,500, 16-25 mm Rs 40,500.

MS Angle: (50x5) (50x6) Rs 42,000, (40x5) (40x6) Rs 42,800.
