Sugar rules stable on thin trade

MUMBAI: Sugar prices witnessed a steady trend at the Vashi Wholesale market here today in thin trade amidst sluggish demand on the back of adequate supply.

Following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:

Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,062/3,131 (Rs 3,062/3,131).

Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,162/3,311 (Rs 3,162/3,311).
