New Delhi: Sugar prices continued to remain steady at the wholesale market in the national capital market on sporadic demand amid scattered supplies.

Marketmen said restricted arrivals and small demand due to week end, mainly caused the steadiness in sweetener prices.

Following are today's quotations (in Rs per quintal)

Sugar retail markets - Rs 28.00-34.00 per kg.

Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 2,800-3,000, S-30 Rs 2,790-2,990.

Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 2,620-2,840, S-30 Rs 2,610-2,830.
