Sugar remains quiet on small buying

NEW DELHI: There was no change in the pattern of trading in the wholesale sugar market in national capital as prices continued to move in a thin range in small trading activities and settled at last levels.

Marketmen said sporadic buying support and restricted arrivals, mainly held prices unaltered.

The following were today quotations per quintal: Sugar ready: M-30 3,280-3,420, S-30 3,260-3,400. Mill delivery: M-30 3,160-3,300; S-30 3,140-3,280. Sugar mill gate (including duty): Mawana 3320, Kinnoni 3400, Asmoli 3360, Dorala 3310, Budhana 3300, Thanabhavan 3300, Dhanora 3260, Simbholi 3395, Modi Nagar 3275, Khatuli 3295, Dhampur 3270, Ramala 3170, Bulandshar 3240, Anupshar 3160, Baghpat 3180, Morna 3170, Sakoti 3220, Chandpur 3235, Amroha 3240 and Nazibabad 3160.
