Sugar prices trade quiet on small buying

NEW DELHI: Dull conditions developed in the wholesale sugar market in the national capital today as prices continued to be at previous levels in the absence of any worthwhile moving factors.


Market men said sufficient stocks position against current demand mainly held prices unmoved.

The following were today's quotations per quintal: Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 3,230-3,330, S-30 Rs 3,210-3,310. Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 3,060-3,200; S-30 Rs 3,050-3,175. Sugar mill gate (including duty): Mawana 3125, Kinnoni 3,210, Asmoli 3,170, Dorala 3,135, Budhana 3,130, Thanabhavan 3,125, Dhanora 3,130, Simbholi 3,185, Modi Nagar 3,110, Khatuli 3,120, Dhampur 3,100, Ramala 3,055, Bulandshar 3,090, Anupshar 3,060, Baghpat 3,075, Morna 3,065, Sakoti 3,075, Chandpur 3,085, Amroha 3,090 and Nazibabad 3060.
