Sugar prices slip again
Continuing the downward trend, sugar slipped down again today, while prices of all other commodities remained unchanged in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.

CHENNAI: Continuing the downward trend, sugar slipped down again today, while prices of all other commodities remained unchanged in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.
Price of sugar moved down by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 3,000 from Rs 3,050.
Thoor dal, urad dal, moong dal, gram dal, wheat, maida and sooji remained unaltered from previous level.
Following are the today's rates per quintal: Thoor dal Rs 7,200, urad dal Rs 7,300, moong dal Rs 9,000, gram dal Rs 2,750, sugar Rs.3,000, wheat Rs.1,650, maida (90 kgs) Rs 1,600 and sooji (90 kgs) Rs 1,700.
