Sugar ends quiet on sporadic buying

NEW DELHI: The wholesale sugar prices settled at previous levels in the national capital today on small buying amid sufficient stocks position.


Marketmen said restricted buying against adequate stocks positions mainly held prices around overnight levels.

The following were today's quotations per quintal: Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 3,220-3,320, S-30 Rs 3,200-3,300. Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 3,090-3,190; S-30 Rs 3,080-3,180. Sugar mill gate (including duty): Mawana 3135, Kinnoni 3,190, Asmoli 3,165, Dorala 3,135, Budhana 3,110, Thanabhavan 3,120, Dhanora 3,115, Simbholi 3,180, Modi Nagar 3,130, Khatuli 3,110, Dhampur 3,100, Ramala 3,100, Bulandshar 3,100, Anupshar 3,090, Baghpat 3,110, Morna 3,100, Sakoti 3,100, Chandpur 3,085, Amroha 3,090 and Nazibabad 3080.
