Sugar ends quiet on some support
The wholesale sugar prices closed on a quiet note in the national capital today following sporadic demand against sufficient position of stocks.

NEW DELHI: The wholesale sugar prices closed on a quiet note in the national capital today following sporadic demand against sufficient position of stocks.
Marketmen said the demand were good because of beginning of summer season, ample position of stocks mainly held prices unaltered.
The following are today's quotations per quintal: Sugar ready: M-30 3,000-3,125, S-30 2,950-3,075. Mill delivery: M-30 2,800-2,975; S-30 2,775-2,950. Sugar mill gate prices (excluding duty): Kinnoni 2,930, Asmoli 2,900, Mawana 2,870, Titabi 2,860, Thanabhavan 2,820, Budhana 2,810, Dorala 2,850, Khatauli 2,840, Morna 2,800 and Ramala 2,780.
