Sugar ends quiet on small buying

NEW DELHI: Sugar prices ended quiet in the national capital today following sporadic buying support against adequate stocks position.

Marketmen said ample stocks against current demand, mainly kept prices unmoved.

The following were today's quotations per quintal: Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 3,220-3,300, S-30 Rs 3,200-3,280. Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 3,070-3,200; S-30 Rs 3,060-3,180. Sugar mill gate (including duty): Mawana 3150, Kinnoni 3,260, Asmoli 3,185, Dorala 3,145, Budhana 3,145, Thanabhavan 3,150, Dhanora 3,135, Simbholi 3,215, Modi Nagar 3,135, Khatuli 3,135, Dhampur 3,100, Ramala 3,090, Bulandshar 3,110, Anupshar 3,070, Baghpat 3,100, Morna 3,090, Sakoti 3,110, Chandpur 3,095, Amroha 3,110 and Nazibabad 3080.
