Sugar prices closed on a quiet note in the national capital today owing to adequate stocks position against ongoing demand.

NEW DELHI: Sugar prices closed on a quiet note in the national capital today owing to adequate stocks position against ongoing demand.

Market analysts said fall in demand due against sufficient stocks position for ongoing demand, held sugar prices around last levels.

The following were today's quotation in Rs per quintal. Sugar ready M-30 3,100-3,200 and S-30 3,075-3,175. Mill delivery M-30 2,850-3,000 and S-30 2,825-2,975. Sugar mill gate prices (excluding duty): Kinonni 2,980, Asmoli 2,960, Mawana 2,925, Titabi 2,920, Thanabhavan 2,880, Budhana 2875 and Dorala 2,910.
