Sugar ends mixed at the Vashi wholesale market

MUMBAI: Both the variety sugar prices ended mixed at the Vashi wholesale market here today due to alternate bouts of buying and selling.

Small sugar (S-30) was quoted at Rs 2,912/3,022 per quintal as against Rs 2,911/3,025 last Saturday.

Medium sugar (M-30) was quoted at Rs 3,042/3,180 per quintal as compared to Rs 3,032/3,181 last weekend.

Following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:

Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 2,912/3,022 (Rs 2,911/3,025).

Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,042/3,180 (Rs 3,032/3,181).
