Sugar edges higher on increased demand
Sugar prices moved up marginally at the Vashi wholesale market here today on the back of increased buying from retailers.

MUMBAI: Sugar prices moved up marginally at the Vashi wholesale market here today on the back of increased buying from retailers.
Small sugar quality (S-30) gained by Rs 10 per quintal to Rs 2,565/2,600 from yesterday's closing level of Rs 2,555/ 2,600.
Medium sugar quality (M-30) was also up by Rs 5 per quintal to Rs 2,580/2,640, as against Rs 2,575/2,640 previously.
Small sugar quality (S-30) gained by Rs 10 per quintal to Rs 2,565/2,600 from yesterday's closing level of Rs 2,555/ 2,600.
Medium sugar quality (M-30) was also up by Rs 5 per quintal to Rs 2,580/2,640, as against Rs 2,575/2,640 previously.
