Sugar closes steady on scattered demand

NEW DELHI: Quiet conditions prevailed at the wholesale sugar market in the national capital today with prices by and large after moving both ways in restricted activity and settle around previous levels.

Marketmen said scattered demand amid restricted activity, mainly kept sugar prices on last levels.

Sugar retail markets - Rs 29.00-36.00 per kg.

Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 3,150-3,280, S-30 Rs 3,140-3,270.

Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 3,000-3,130, S-30 Rs 2,990-3,120.
