Sugar closes quiet in thin trade

NEW DELHI: Sugar prices settled on a steady note in the national capital today following restricted arrivals amid scattered buying support. Marketmen said small buying support against restricted supply from mills, mainly kept sugar prices unaltered.

Following are today''s rates in Rs per quintal: Sugar ready M-30 2,700-2,800 and S-30 2,690-2,790. Mill delivery M-30 2,500-2,620 and S-30 2,490-2610.
