Soya bean, pepper move up on NCDEX

In domestic futures, turnover on MCX was Rs 4,092.54 crore.
Bullion turnover was Rs 1626.57 crore. Gold contracts, including gold mini, suffered a loss of Rs 196 and Rs 5 per 10 gm. Gold December contract shed 0.46% at Rs 9,708 per 10 gm.
Silver contracts, including silver mini, receded by between Rs 527 and Rs 12 per kg. December contract slid by 0.66% at Rs 17,986 per kg. In the base metals segment, copper contracts turnover was Rs.595.85 crore. The November delivery contract was down 1% at Rs 303.45 per kg.
Turnover of all zinc contracts was Rs 398.15 crore. Zinc October contract fell by 1.46 % at Rs 114.55 per kg. Turnover of all nickel contracts was Rs 126.61 crore with the October delivery contract shrinking by 1.28% at Rs 1,239.10 per kg.
Turnover of all lead contracts was Rs.592.89 crore. Among agri-commodities, NCDEX registered a total turnover of Rs 2,209 crore with active trade in soya oil, soya bean, chana, guar seed, pepper, jeera. Turmeric hit upper circuit posting a turnover of Rs 97 crore. The near month contract closed at Rs 1,987 per quintal against previous close at Rs 1,948.

Chana closed down at Rs 2,393 per quintal with a turnover of Rs 219 crore. Guar seed closed down at Rs 1,733 per quintal posting a turnover of Rs 200 crore. Soya oil closed up at Rs 492.8 per 10 kg, posting a turnover of Rs 360 crore while soya bean closed up at Rs 1,690 per quintal, recording a turnover of Rs 294 crore. Rape mustard seed closed up at Rs 467 per 20 kg, registering turnover of Rs 177 crore.
