Smart rise in metal prices on higher LME advices
Prices of copper, brass and aluminium firmed up smartly on the non-ferrous metal market.
However, tin declined on lack of demand from industrial users.
Nickel rose by Rs 10 per kilo to Rs 1,170, copper armiture by Rs 6 per kilo to Rs 388, copper scrap heavy by Rs 5 per kilo to Rs 393, copper sheets cutting by Rs 5 per kilo to Rs 383, copper cable scrap by Rs 4 per kilo to Rs 398, copper wire bar by Rs 4 per kilo to Rs 426, brass sheets cutting by Rs 3 per kilo to Rs 273, copper utensils scrap by Rs 2 per kilo to Rs 352, brass utensils scrap by Rs 2 per kilo to Rs 256 and aluminium utensils scrap by a rupee per kilo to Rs 115.
However, tin fell by Rs 5 per kilo to Rs 1,165 from Rs 1,170 previously.
