Mumbai: Prices of copra Rajapur and copra Kozhikode firmed up smartly on the spices market on Wednesday due to good demand from retailers amidst poor supplies from producing regions.
Copra Rajapur Mumbai shot up by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 6,100 from the yesterday's closing level of Rs 6,000.
Copra office Kozhikode rose by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 4,400 from Rs 4,350 and copra office Alapuzha also moved up by Rs 25 per quintal to Rs 4,500 from Rs 4,475 previously.
Other spices ruled steady.
