MUMBAI: Prices of small sugar firmed up on the Vashi wholesale market here today on good demand from retailers.
Medium sugar, however, declined due to poor off take. Small sugar quality (S-30) moved up by Rs 5/10 per quintal to Rs 1470/1509 from the last weekend's level of Rs 1460/1504.
However, medium sugar quality (M-30) fell by Rs 4 per quintal to Rs 1490/1580 from Rs 1494/1580.
