Select pulses weaken on sluggish demand

In the national capital, moong and its dal chilka local declined by Rs 100 each to Rs 5,700-6,200 and Rs 6,200-6,600, while dhoya local and best traded lower by similar margin to Rs 6,550-6,650 and Rs 7,250-7,350 per quintal, respectively.
Masoor small and bold also fell by Rs 200 each to Rs 4,200-4,400 and Rs 4,350-4,600 per quintal. Its dal local and best traded lower by the same margion to Rs 4900-5000 and Rs 5,000-5,100 per quintal, respectively.
Arhar and its dal dara variety too traded lower by Rs 100 each to Rs 4,550-4,900 and Rs 6,250-6,450 per quintal, respectively.
The following are today's pulses rates per quintal: Urad 3,900-4,300, Urad Chilka (local) 4,750-5,100, best 5,200-5,700, Dhoya 5,700-5,900, Moong 5,700-6,200, Dal Moong Chilka local 6,200-6,600, Moong Dhoya local 6,550-6,650 and best quality 7,250-7,350.
Masoor small 4,200-4,400, bold 4,350-4,600, Dal Masoor local 4,900-5,000, best quality 5,000-5,100, Malka local 4,900-5,000, best 5,100-5,200, Moth 3,900-4,500, Arhar 4,550-4,900, Dal Arhar Dara 6,250-6,450. Besin Rajdhani and shaktibhog Rs 1700 each per 35 kg bag.
Gram 3,500-3,850, Gram Dal (local) 4,150-4,250, best quality 4,450-4,550, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,720, Rajdhani 1,720, Rajmah Chitra 8,500-9,700, Kabli Gram small 4,000-6,100, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100; Lobia 4,000-4,800, Peas white 2,775-2,800 and green 2,850-3,000.
