Prices of mustard and ricebran oil fell by Rs 50 per quintal each in the wholesale oils and oilseeds market here on Saturday on fresh arrivals against slackness in demand.

NEW DELHI: Prices of mustard and ricebran oil fell by Rs 50 per quintal each in the wholesale oils and oilseeds market here on Saturday on fresh arrivals against slackness in demand.
However, Prices of other edible and non-edible oils maintained last closing levels on little buying.
Marketmen said fresh supply from Rajasthan region against reduced offtake, mainly pulled down mustard and ricebran oil prices.
Mustard expeller lost by Rs 50 to settle at Rs 6,200 a quintal on small buying interest.
Ricebran (phy) oils also shed Rs 50 to close at Rs 5,200 a quintal on withdrawal of support by vanaspati mills.
