CHENNAI: Prices of urad, gram dal declined, while other commodities ruled steady in the wholesale foodgrains market here on Tuesday.
Urad Dal slipped by Rs 50 to Rs 3,600 and Gram Dal went down by Rs 50 to Rs 2,650.
The prices of thoor dal, moong dal, sugar, wheat, maida and sooji remained unchanged.
Following are today's rates per quintal: Thoor dal Rs 4,300, Urad Dal Rs 3,600, Moong Dal Rs 3,200, Gram Dal Rs 2,650, Sugar Rs 1,340, Wheat Rs 1,400, Maida (90 Kgs) Rs 1,350 and Sooji (90 kgs) Rs 1,500.
